Healthy turkey wrap lunch.

Healthy Turkey Wraps!!!
I used to make turkey wraps all the time but we ate them cold and with bacon. I put a little spin on it by getting rid of the bad bacon and warming them in the oven. They were sooooo good.
So it's pretty basic but I'll give you a run down on how it's done and what we had with it.
1. Spread a little mayo (I think you could do without), we like mustard, add some turkey, swiss cheese or cheese of choice and I topped mine with mild banana peppers. I think the peppers and the swiss make this! Wrap them up like burritos and throw them in your preheated (350 degree) oven for about 5 -8 minutes. Meanwhile cut up your veggies, make your salad and pour your dressings.

I like to use lettuce that your rinse and cut yourself. It is so much cheaper and only takes an extra minute.

I like my cucumbers in wedges on the side of my salad. The kids wanted circles. We give the cucumber shreds to the guinea pig. I hope this year to start a compost pile for all these extras.

If you don't like cucumbers try a side of pickles, red pepper strips, a fruit, carrots or whatever healthy food you and your kids enjoy.

Here is the finished lunch. Salad with fat free Italian dressing, cucumbers with fat free dipping ranch and a yummy, cheesy and warm turkey wrap.
If you give this lunch a try let me know if you liked it or what you did different.
This meal only took about 15 minutes to make.

I simply love this new bread by Pepperidge Farm
It is Goldfish sandwich bread! Who's child wouldn't eat this sandwich?
It's soft
100% whole wheat
3 grams of fiber
no high fructose corn syrup
and only 120 calories
It taste great and when paired with some veggies and fat free ranch you have a healthy lunch. That is if you leave the actual goldfish out of it ;)
